Family Month
Commitment
Troop 770's success depends on its families. One of the requirements our Troop has is a one-month commitment from each family to agree to be present and to participate in all the activities for that month.
*Families exempt are those who act as a SM, ASM or Committee Member, as SMs and ASMs tend to be at most, if not every campout anyway, and Committee Members volunteer their hours in time throughout the year.

1 month out of the year
Each month we have a required minimum of four families committing to the events for the month. This helps with ensuring adult leadership as well as car pooling. Also, by committing to the one month, you not only provide the coverage e need, but then don't have to worry about the 11 months of the year.
The purpose for this requirement is to relieve those families who are very active and always coming to the rescue of the Troop (YOU know who you are, and if you don't know who those people are, it's not you). Also, it relieves last-minute scrambling for leadership and rides as well as it helps establish consistency for our Troop which leads to longevity. So sign up and support the present state of the troop as well as its future.
